Hot Air Furnaces (HAF) / Hot Gas Generators (HGG)
Bigelow-Liptak has been designing hot air furnaces (HAF), or “hot gas generators‚¬ (HGG) since the 1950’s. We have supplied equipment for industrial processes which require a controlled source of hot flue gases; Bigelow-Liptak has developed a complete line of hot air furnaces fired by gas, oil, coal or a variety of waste fuels. Our furnace designs can accommodate pressurized, negative or balanced draft operation. Any fabrication code can be utilized, from ASME to most international requirements as we have supplied equipment all over the world. Our hot gas generators have ranged in thermal output capacities from:
1 – 400 MMBtu/Hr
0.25 ƒ– 106 – 100 ƒ– 106 Kcal/Hr
We have designed furnaces in both horizontal and vertical configurations and our refractory lining systems vary from simple and economical ceramic fiber linings to our patented suspended air cooled systems.
